Cutting with Laser

 Together with the dynamic development of the company and trying to meet expectations

of our Customers, since 2008, we extended the offer for services connected with laser cutting of metal sheets.

 

Using the concentrated bundle of the energy, method of laser cutting is characterized by

high precision dimensional and quality of cut edges.

Full control over process parameters allows for repeatability and precision

cutting the parts.   

 

Laser functionality

1. Metal sheets: 1250mmx2500mm

2. Max. thickness of the material to be cut:

        - constructional steels {carbon steels} - 6mm

        - stainless steels - 3mm

        - acid resistant steels -3 mm

Cutting with Plasma

Competition on the market of cutting for laser burners are certainly a CNC plasma cutters, which we have in

our stock of machines (we have tables at our disposal about dimensions 1,5 x 3 m and 2 x 6 m).

We also have a propane burner, which serves to cut less complicated elements of thick sheets.

Thickness of the material to be cut
Plasma: cut to a thickness #25 mm – accuracy of the cutting: +/- 0,2 – 1 mm,
Burner: cut to 120 mm – accuracy +/- 0,8 – 1,5mm.

Cutting with Water

Thickness of the material to be cut: to the thickness #180 mm - accuracy of the cut: +/- 0,1 - 0,2 mm,

Coovap has two machines for cutting by water stream:

1. An unique machine with dynamic head made of the American company FLOW – global leader in water jet technology,

about dimensions of the table 1153 mm x 2365 mm.

2. The machine made of Waterjet Corporation Italian company about the magnitude of the work table 2 x 6 m.

Water jet cutting technology is characterized by a laser precision

and the lack of influence of thermal loads (temperature does not exceed 40°C). There are no

negative impacts both mechanical as well as and chemical. Therefore, we can cut practically every material.

Materials cut with water stream:

- ordinary steel and stainless steel,

- non-ferrous metals,

- glass, plastic,

- rubber, ceramics, wood.

Cutting is carried out in the cold, which is especially important for hardened materials and metals with a low melting temperature.
